2006 Bon Passe Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes
The 2006 Bon Passe Cabernet exhibits a core of black cherry and delicate plum with hints of vanilla, cassis and baking spices, particularly allspice. The palate starts with sweet ripe fruit on the entry and a softer acid profile that leads to rich and slightly chewy tannins as it finishes with a touch of mocha. As with the 2005, this wine has the flavors and suppleness to be enjoyed on its own while maintaining an elegance that will complement many foods.
