Description
2010 marks the sixth release of our 100% estate grown, hand-crafted, small production Cabernet Sauvignon. Our vineyard is located in the southwestern bench lands of Napa Valley, in the Oak Knoll District appellation. The vineyard is comprised of both hillsides and valley floor, with varying soil types. We focus heavily on our farming and believe that great wines begin in the vineyard. We produce our wine using small lot fermentation so we can have maximum flexibility for creating the most balanced and refined final blend.Click here to download the Tasting Sheet

Tasting Notes
The 2010 Bon Passe Cabernet exhibits a complex array of fruit, floral, and spice aromas including cherry, plum, cassis, and a briary blackberry component together with gingerbread, mocha, cedar, anise, and vanilla. The dense palate exhibits the hallmark concentration of the Bon Passe Vineyard and rich tannins that are slightly more tamed and elegant with the 2010 vintage. The array of aromas carries through in the flavors on the palate which is dominated by dusty cherry and plum with a long lingering finish. This wine has the flavors and suppleness to be enjoyed on its own while maintaining an elegance that will complement many foods.Pairings
